Memories Revisited
The little museum located in Scotch Creek on the shores of Shuswap Lake is filled with objects used and donated by the pioneers. The log cabins were built in 1910 and 1918 respectively and reconstructed log by log at the present location. Several books containing many old photographs are on display. The reconstruction of the Riley cabin which was built around 1929 was completed in 2015. The museum is open during June, July & August – Thursday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission is by donation.
Sitting beside T & L Reflections – A Little Museum is the first grader in the North Shuswap. The grader was donated to the North Shuswap Historical Society by Mrs. Dorothy Riley. It took four horses to pull the grader. Other pioneer farm equipment are also on display in the yard.
